Game Day Tips
Before You Go
- Buy tickets online, ahead of time. All three districts have gone cashless/digital for football:
- Klein ISD → HomeTown Ticketing (app or events.hometownticketing.com/boxoffice/kleinisd)
- Tomball ISD → HomeTown Ticketing (app or events.hometownticketing.com/boxoffice/tomballisd). Tickets are online-only, so don't count on paying at the gate.
- Cy-Fair ISD → GoFan (search by the HOME team's school)
Big rivalry games sell out fast, so grab tickets a few days early if you can. - Download the app before you leave the house. Stadium wifi/parking-lot signal can be spotty, and digital tickets are the only way in.
- Gates typically open about an hour before kickoff. Early arrival means better parking and a real shot at good seats.
Know Before You Go: Clear Bag Policies
Every stadium in all three districts enforces some version of a clear bag policy, but the fine print isn't identical, so it's worth checking before you pack the diaper bag:
- Klein ISD (Klein Memorial Stadium): Clear bag policy in effect. (I couldn't pull Klein's exact size limits from a source I'd trust to be current, so I'd rather flag that than guess. Want me to track down the exact dimensions from their official flyer, or just link to it and let readers check?)
- Tomball ISD (Tomball ISD Stadium): Clear bag policy enforced, plus a metal detector walk-through for every guest. No coolers or ice chests. No outside food or drinks except one sealed bottle of water per person. No re-entry once the game starts.
- Cy-Fair ISD (Pridgeon & Cy-Fair FCU Stadiums): Any clear bag is fine, no size limit, as long as it's see-through. Non-clear purses/bags must be 6" x 9" x 5" or smaller. Everyone passes through a metal detector. No tailgating on CFISD property.
General Gameday Reminders
- All ticketed guests age 5+ typically need their own ticket, even little ones who'll sit on a lap.
- Most stadiums don't allow re-entry once you leave, so plan bathroom and concession runs accordingly.
- Ticket sales are final across the board, no refunds or exchanges.
- Leave large stadium seats/chairbacks at home for sold-out or rivalry games; space gets tight fast.
Comfort Tips
- Early season (Aug–Sept): Houston heat is no joke at a 7 PM kickoff. Sunscreen, a hat, and a full water bottle (once you're inside) go a long way.
- Late season (Oct–Nov): Temps drop fast after sunset, so a light jacket or blanket over your arm (not a folded stadium blanket bag) is a smart call.
- Check each stadium's lightning/weather policy on the PA or video board. If play stops for weather, head to the concourse or your car until the all-clear.
